JoyRocks Switches to Unity

After 2 years of development on Flash, JoyRocks has committed to build future projects on Unity! “This change in tech base reflects a committment to global distribution and cross-platform play,” comments Ivan Lavoryk, JoyRocks CTO, “Unity is a mature, flexible platform that will allow us to easily reach mobile and PC audiences, as well as in-browser players.”

“Mobile is a huge area of growth and focus for us in 2014 and 2015, and Unity will help us get there”, says David Nixon, JoyRocks CSO.

The first game JoyRocks will release on Unity is the new Bird’s Town: Chick Rebuilds slated to make it’s North American debut in the latter half of 2014.
