MEET THE FOUNDER

I moved from Texas to New York City with dreams of becoming a fashion editor, and somehow, those dreams came true. I went on to hold on-staff positions at Harper's Bazaar, Martha Stewart Weddings, Marie Claire , Good Housekeeping and write for ELLE, InStyle, and Departures, spending years immersed in fashion, beauty, and the world of luxury consulting for brands like Prada, La Mer, and Clinique while appearing regularly as a style contributor on the Today Show and Access Hollywood.

The pieces that meant the most to me were always the ones that told a personal story.

JoyRocks brings those two worlds together: the editorial eye I developed in New York and the sisterhood that has stayed with me since Bid Day at UT Austin.
