I moved from Texas to New York City with dreams of becoming a fashion editor, and somehow, those dreams came true. I went on to work at Harper's Bazaar and write for ELLE, InStyle, and Martha Stewart, spending years immersed in fashion, beauty, and the world of luxury. But the pieces that meant the most to me were always the ones that told a personal story. JoyRocks brings those two worlds together: the editorial eye I developed in New York and the sisterhood that has stayed with me since Texas.
